Detailed Educational Qualifications, Age Limit, and Salary Details

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed Matriculation (10th class pass) from a recognized board.
• Age Limit: Applicants should not exceed 27 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
• Salary: The selected candidates will receive a salary in the range of ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month, corresponding to Level-3 of the Pay Matrix.

 

Syllabus and Exam Pattern

The selection process comprises three tiers:

• Tier I: Objective-type test with sections on General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability & Reasoning, and English Language. The exam consists of 100 questions, each carrying one mark, with a duration of 60 minutes. There is a negative marking of ¼ mark for each incorrect answer.
• Tier II: Descriptive test involving translation of a 500-word passage from a local language/dialect to English and vice versa. This test is qualifying in nature, with a minimum qualifying mark of 20 out of 50.
• Tier III: Interview/Personality test carrying 50 marks. The final merit list is prepared based on combined performance in Tier I and Tier III.
