Assuming an employee starts at the pay level of Rs. 44,900 (Pay Level-7) and receives regular promotions, their salary after 5 years can be estimated as follows:
- Assistant Audit Officer: The starting salary for Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) is around Rs. 47,000. After 5 years of service, the salary can be around Rs. 65,000 – Rs. 70,000.
- Income Tax Inspector: The starting salary for Income Tax Inspector is around Rs. 44,900. After 5 years of service, the salary can be around Rs. 60,000 – Rs. 65,000.
