RRB Group C jobs Job Profile:
Technician:
- A Signal maintainer has to work indoors as well as outdoor where Railway signaling installations are provided.
- He has to maintain Block instruments and Panels provided in Station houses, Points and Crossings provided outdoor where Rails are joined, Gate signals. The work includes normal maintenance and attendance during failure.
- As the job demands extensive stay outdoors in remote locations it is not advisable for women.
- The signal maintainer works under the control of the Junior Engineer(signal).
Non-Technician:
- Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk: Checking and issuing of tickets.
- Goods Guard: Track the functioning of the train and check on the goods, stock, and address minor issues during train movement.
- Senior Clerk cum Typist: Supervising clerical works at different departments of the Railways.
- Junior Account Assistant cum Typist: Track financial irregularities.
- Senior Time Keeper: Keep in sync with the entire railway network of the job location.
- Junior Time Keeper: Assists the Senior Time Keeper in the arrival/departure of trains
- Accounts Clerk cum Typist: Maintain track of various transactions
