A total of 27,000 guest teachers have been ordered to be recruited in government primary schools in the state. This includes the recruitment of 15,000 graduate primary teachers (class 6 to 8) which the government has already ordered.

Primary and secondary education minister B Nagesh said the process of filling up will begin soon.
the Finance Department approved the recruitment of 27,000 guest teachers. In addition, an additional 3 thousand teachers have been sent to fill the vacancies. If approved, the Department of Education has decided to employ a total of 30000 posts.
sed karnataka Guest Teacher Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification:

As per sed karnataka notification, the age limit is 18-45 years for general, OBC 3 years, SC, ST 5 year’s age relaxation available for 2024 Guest Teacher Recruitment.

| Guest Teacher | The commissioner’s office has imposed certain conditions for this recruitment process. Guest teachers should be appointed on priority basis. It should be conducted by respective school headmasters. 100% vacancies should be filled in Government Karnataka Public Schools/Bangalore Public Schools and Adarsh Vidyalayas. Commissioner requested that guest teachers should be appointed there on priority basis.
Guest teachers should be selected on merit basis considering the minimum qualification prescribed for the respective post |
