Pay Scale Rs. 37,900-70,850 Group “C” Group 1500 posts of Panchayat Development Officer have been upgraded in the pay scale of Rs.40,900-78,200 (Group B Junior Band) and re-designated as Senior Panchayat Development Officer.
2) Remaining 4521 Panchayat Development Officer posts in pay scale Rs. 37,900-70,850 (in Group C Vrm) continued.
3) Panchayat Development Officer (Group C) 65% of the total posts are filled through direct recruitment i.e. competitive examination and 35% of the posts are filled through promotion.
