Detailed Education, Age & Salary
- Office Assistant: Any graduate; computer & regional‐language proficiency desirable. Age 18–28 yrs (born 2 Aug 1997 to 1 Aug 2007). Gross emoluments ~ ₹37k; in-hand ~ ₹32k.
- Officer Scale I: Any graduate; preference disciplines as per notification; age 18–30 yrs; gross ~ ₹57k; in-hand ~ ₹48k.
- Officer Scale II: Graduate with 50 % marks plus experience (2 yrs for GBO, 1–2 yrs for Specialists); age 21–32 yrs; gross ~ ₹70k; in-hand ~ ₹58k.
- Officer Scale III: Graduate with 50 % marks plus 5 yrs experience; age 21–40 yrs; gross ~ ₹78k; in-hand ~ ₹66k.
Age relaxations: OBC +3 yrs, SC/ST +5 yrs, PwBD +10 yrs, others as per Govt. rules.
Syllabus & Exam Pattern
• Office Assistant & Officer Scale I
– Preliminary: 80 Qs (Reasoning 40, Quantitative Aptitude 40), 45 min.
– Main: 200 Qs (Reasoning, Quant, Computer, General Awareness, English/Hindi), 120 min.
• Officer Scale II (GBO & Specialist)
– Single paper: 200 Qs, 120 min. Sections: Reasoning, Quant, Financial Awareness, English/Hindi, Computer; Specialist also includes Professional Knowledge.
• Officer Scale III
– Single paper identical to Scale II GBO with tougher difficulty.
Negative marking: 0.25 mark per wrong answer. Scores in mains/single + interview decide final merit (assistant posts have no interview).
