Nationality

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification

The educational requirements vary based on the specific engineering discipline:

  • For Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) – Degree Holders: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a university established by law in India.
  • For Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) – Diploma Holders: Candidates must hold a Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from an institution recognized by the government.
  • Essential: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Age Limit (as of 1st January of the recruitment year)

  • General Category: The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 40 years.
  • Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Rajasthan government norms:
    • SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS (Male candidates of Rajasthan): 5 years relaxation.
    • General Category (Female candidates): 5 years relaxation.
    • SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS (Female candidates of Rajasthan): 10 years relaxation.
