    • History of India: Major features, events, administrative, social, and economic systems of ancient and medieval India. Social and religious reform movements, independence struggle, and Indian National Movement. Integration and reorganization of India after Independence.
    • Geography of Madhya Pradesh: Major physiographic divisions, rivers, climate, soils, natural vegetation, forest, major crops, irrigation, minerals, energy resources, industries.
    • Geography of the World and India: Physical geography, natural resources, social geography (population, demography), economic geography (natural and human resources, industry, transport).
    • Indian Polity and Economy: Government of India Act 1919 and 1935, Constituent Assembly, Union Executive, Parliament, Fundamental Rights & Duties, Directive Principles, Constitutional Amendments, Supreme Court, Financial Institutions, Indian Economy, Industrial Development, Foreign Trade.
